New South Wales Asbestos Removal
About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and reliable asbestos removal labourer to assist our asbestos removal team in the safe removal and disposal of asbestos-containing materials. The successful candidate will work part-time, with the potential for full-time hours in the future.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with asbestos removal, encapsulation, and disposal procedures
- Follow all health and safety regulations related to asbestos removal
- Assist with preparation of the work area, including setting up containment, ventilation, and decontamination systems
- Help with loading and unloading asbestos-containing materials
- Follow all waste disposal procedures to ensure safe and compliant disposal of asbestos waste
- Provide support to other team members as required
Requirements
Hiring 2x part time labourers would fit students
Ability to physically perform manual labour tasks, including lifting and carrying heavy objects
Ability to work in confined spaces and at heights
Knowledge/experience in asbestos removal and disposal procedures (White card / Asbestos ticket preferred)
Ability to follow instructions and procedures carefully
Good communication skills and a positive attitude
16 to 24 hours per week (7AM-3PM)
Drivers licensed preferred but not essential (l
iving around Sydney Olympic Park preferred)
MR to HR licence is an advantage
Training provided
Some regional work available
